The only exception (which I forgot to mention) is the "Tower" challenge. I believe you cannot save progress there.
The single player game (mode), as stated earlier - you certainly can.
As much as I fully agree with the statement, I have to say that in order to perceive the game as "Amazing", one has to understand the rules of the game, and existing mechanics. Otherwise, the verdict may be completely different - which we have, on several occasions.

Well, with the amount of hate the games got, I think mentioning it could extend users expectations.
Oh, and dont get me wrong, the game is turbo cool, and super fun to play, but we all know, how does the quick death makes people quit, even faster then they die lol.
I already knew HouseMarque since Amiga times. I'll never forget their StarDust and Super StarDust.
