Act 3...

Finished Act 2 and now i am at the start of Act 3 ..back to the first area

I know im supposed to find the Sun Fragments in each area
6 in total
but when i find a fragment do i then have to beat the boss of that area again to proceed to the next area? or do i return to the ship with the fragment or go to the house??
im not sure how to proceed here

You just have to pickup the fragments.

So if i pick up a fragment how do i get to the next area to pick up the second fragment?
first run when i beat the boss i am automatically sent to next area

You don't have to pick them up in any order. Just use the gates to move to the next biome and use the device in the loading bay (inside your ship) to switch to earlier/later biomes.
Took me a while to find them all.

cant find this device in my ship

there is a room in the ship which has a device which looks like a gramophone but when i click on it it just starts a new run
no options to switch to other biomes
when does this device appear in the ship?

I believe that's the device they are talking about. The one where you click on it and you move in close to look at the "portal" looking part of it. It switches you between biomes 1-3 and biomes 4-6.

Got it
so no choosing between Biomes 1-6
it dumps you into Biom 1 OR Biom 4

having a brutal time trying to find these Sun Fragments
played for 2-3 hrs ..havent found one yet
tried following a couple of guides on the net but they basically place you right in front of it so they are pretty much useless
