I didn't have any stuttering on my 3070 Ti / Ryzen 9 5900X / 32 GB RAM.
Not sure how it fares on less powerful CPUs.
I personally play on a controller at 60fps and see the game as an improved console version.
You can watch some benchmarks with frame time graph or buy the game and refund it if you don't like the performance.
But who know if you will have the issue? some seems to be lucky enough and don't have it.
I think these stutters are specific to how close to an other room/door you are and also some specific spots in specific rooms.
1) Some rooms are stutter free around the center, but the more you get close to a door/other room/corner the more you have chances to trigger some stutter it seems for me. not pleasant... thinking about staying in the center while fighting...
2)Sometime, there is some specific spots in some rooms where i hate to fight because i know this specific place have like an "invisible wall of stutter" that you don't want to cross multiple time in the fight.
That said, its a good Rogue-lite if you like that kind of thing and worth playing through. I am nearly to the secret ending.
This game is not moving in the right direction at all, why was version 1.0 better playable on my system than the newest build.

It has some traversal stutters but otherwise it's not that bad in my opinion. Not perfect but better than on a ps5. But if somebody is a 500Hz e-sport player then I can understand that this framerate and frame time can be unplayable.
RX 6650 XT at 1080p at lowest settings using XeSS to try and help. Doesn't help by capping at 60 FPS, nor 40, nor 30. It's the worst-running game I've ever played (sadly). (Using a 5700X CPU and SN850X NVMe SSD, too. 32GB of RAM.)
didn't they promise Digital Foundry that they were working on fixing the stuttering with regard to high fps gameplay? They even said that the devs told them DLSS Frame Gen was coming in a patch... and where is it? is the game abandoned already?
