Looking for a difficulty mod.

Hello. Anyone know of a difficulty mod to make the game harder? For me this game is way too easy. I'm looking for a mod to make the game alot more challenging. I was hoping to get a NG+ system when the game was released for pc but we didnt get one...

I don't get it. There's a lot of games i am/was really good at, but this one really kicks my ass. It's not even that beating the rooms is difficult, but keeping your health up is just a pain. I can be doing great in a run and then make a few tiny mistakes in a row and be on life support all of a sudden. Even if i do a really good run and end up at the boss, i'l be getting him down to the 3rd health bar without much problems only to get my ass beaten in his final form.

This seems an easy game compared to "The Bindings of Isaac" for exemple.
I finished biome 1-3 pretty easily, have to do the rest. I was still waiting a fix for stuttering since release but now i lost all my hopes... and my "first excitement" for the game also since that.
Sad.

I will surely use it after i have reached the end and enjoy some true rogue-like stress ahah.

Well, you can't state these both facts together! this is that simple.

For my own experience i "first tried" the first 1-3 loop biome and had still too much heal left on maps, "revive machine i think?" unused and one astronaut revive object in pocket.
Something like this... Not to brag but game give you way too much resources it seems for me.

i'm glad this mods already exist.

"first tried", symbols are importants.
The thing is, i benchmarked the game a LOT on my own side running a lots the first forest biome trying things to find a solution for stuttering (spoiler alert : there is none, or maybe buy a 4000 series and see???)
i did that for HOURS you can't imagine it gaved me headhache but i was here only to fight stutters, not the game ahah.
Still, i learned the game here without really any intention to beat it and never left the forest while doing that.

i was a"little prepared" when i really went biome 1-3 with the intention to beat it.

ngl, the fact that this is just damage and there'll probably be no way to ever get harder bullet patterns on bosses and enemies is a bit disappointing.

Well, it's beyond my skill so let's hope some brave modders will do new mobs and/or patterns. Game is young on PC, wait and see.

But this mod is a good start i think. Numbers seems logic and there is multiple presets.

Its one of the easiest games for me out there, I dont understand what even poeple find is so hard about this game. Game got even easier when it got mouse support. Some proper NG+ modes or would do the game wonders. I mean if people dont want a harder game thats fine. Just make it optional. For me its boring clearing runs after runs never feeling its a challenge..

Yeah, I was super disappointed when it ended and that was as hard as the enemy/boss attack patterns got. Hyperion wound up being the only boss I struggled with, the final one was a pushover by the time I got to it.
It also asks you to do early game content *a lot* to 100% the story for a game without any way to mix up the early game difficulty.

1. turn off auto aim.
2. never pick up resins.
3. stop picking up suit augments.
4. pick up EVERY parasite.
5. stop picking up Artifacts.
6. do a malignancy only run (never pick up anything that isn't malignant or spoiled)

You can do those challenges adding up, depending on how easy you think it is.

use the fling trainer and set the damage and defence modifiers to 0.1x so everything will harder to kill and you will die easily. there hard mod. (lol you can set the modifier to anything you want really)

also you can set the game speed to be faster which will require you to have faster reaction times.
