Very bad performance on high end hardware
During cutscenes i get 3-5 FPS and audio stutters a lot. During gameplay i get 30-50 fps and they are very unstable and stuttery. I played with an rtx 2080 super and had these issues, now i have an rtx 3080 and i get the EXACT SAME PERFORMANCE. i have in i9 11900K overclocked @ 5Ghz, 32GB 3200mhz ram, samsung 1tb 980 Nvme. i play on 1440p. i honestly have no clue why the performance is so bad when everyone else seems to play just fine. this is the only game where i have this issue. im considering a refund. Also, i already reinstalled the game and checked file integrity with no results. pls help

Make sure the game is running on your dedicated GPU rather than your CPU and/or the integrated GPU from your mobo.

If you are reporting performance issue, please remember to include your current graphics settings

My specs are not too far from yours, as I'm running an RTX 3080 with a 10th gen i9. Most settings are on medium-high at 1440p, with medium RTX. Here's what performance looks like on my end:

Does this resemble your performance?

If not, then I would absolutely recommend breaking out your favorite system monitor to identify the bottleneck. I would also recommend monitoring temperatures, as overheating will result in reduced performance.

Finally, if you're not using DLSS, then I would recommend doing so. This will reduce CPU temps, improve performance, and will actually result in marginally improved image quality over raw output.

Pretty sure the problem is something like this.

This game is very CPU-heavy, but a good CPU like yours coupled with a 3080 definitely isn't supposed to fail like that.

i already checked with hardware monitor, my temps are fine and there are no bottlenecks. this is why i made the post, i have 0 idea why this game runs so badly, as none other demanding game has these issues. it does not matter if i play on maxed out graphics or the lowest, i get 40 fps stuttering

...couldn't you have included all that info in the OP?

In either case, we have very similar rigs, so it doesn't make sense for us to (presumably) have the game performing at different levels. So (and not to point the finger) this issue would have something to do with your PC and/or PC config. Some things to consider:

-Turn on DLSS (you neglected to answer this question)
-Update to the latest graphics driver OR uninstall and perform a clean install
-Visit Bios and check the clock speed of your CPU
-On that note, if your CPU is overclocked, consider reverting to default settings temporarily

my bad, sorry for not posting the settings, but yes, i play with DLSS and tried every different preset, i get pretty much the same performance no matter the preset i play on. i updated bios to the latest version and i tried to play without the cpu overclock, with no results. gpu drivers are up to date and i even tried to do a fresh install of drivers with DDU. thats why i opened this discussion in the first place, i honestly have no clue.

I know you say you have checked this, but TBH it still all sounds like the game is trying to run on your CPU instead of your GPU.
