Uninstall EOS and prevent its re-installation. Uninstall simply via Windows "add or remove programs". To prevent the re-installation go to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Returnal\Returnal\Binaries\Win64" look for "launcher.ini". and set "NoOperation" to 1.
Epic gives one or two games per week for free. Sometimes they are decent titles. I got all new Tomb Riders, Bioshocks and many others not so old AAA games.
No epic. That's a win.
EOS isn't the only way to achieve crossplay.
I believe the last few COD games would like a word with you on that.
There is no console//pc crossplay for this game (I believe).
And CoD aren't on epic.
No epic/steam crossplay? still sounds like a win to me.
Yes COD isn't on epic. I wonder why that is? /s
