You can at least remove it yourself.

Uninstall EOS and prevent its re-installation. Uninstall simply via Windows "add or remove programs". To prevent the re-installation go to "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Returnal\Returnal\Binaries\Win64" look for "launcher.ini". and set "NoOperation" to 1.

The co-op in this game kinda sucks without VOIP and I've stopped interacting with dead bodies. They just don't pay-off. Removing EGS and playing this as a single player game is the better choice.

Even with EOS removed, you still can play in coop. Just not via cross play anymore.

what are people problem here... like really... i have it on steam click play it loads up..epic games dosnt load and dosnt run in the background..am i missing something

I think people have problem supporting Chinese company Tencent owning majority of Epic. However it’s weird that people don’t boycott games on Unreal Engine or even Sony themselves that keeps buying more Epic shares.

Epic gives one or two games per week for free. Sometimes they are decent titles. I got all new Tomb Riders, Bioshocks and many others not so old AAA games.

It uses EPIC ONLINE SERVICES which uses epic servers which artificially boosts their numbers and god know what else it does on your pc.

There is no console//pc crossplay for this game (I believe).
