The last interaction will show up on act 2. I think it's actually like 3 in act 1 and 3 in act 2? (one for each of the bosses including Ophion, plus the very first one). You can swap acts by visiting the machine in the cargo bay of the Helios.
Don't feel bad about redoing runs. I looked into the machine (which turned me back to act 1) and did the whole damn act again before realizing I was missing the last visit to the house in act 2. I'm guessing the sun fragment didn't spawn since I was pending the house visit, so I could only get the ones in biomes 5 and 6, and now I'll have to redo acts 1 through 4 again to get the fragments.
Must've had something similar happen. Have to go back for the first 3, but I'm still missing other things, so idc. Fun game.
I might have to redo the second act since the final xenoglyph is at the very very end, though honestly I think I'm starting to see what the secret ending is gonna be about and I may just lose all interest for the game after that. I dunno.
I feel bad, because I enjoyed my first run through the game, I enjoyed the tower for like 90 rooms, but since yesterday I only care about the story and the game is being very stingy about it for no reason. I've played for too long to just watch a youtube video, but at the same time I'm nowhere near as close as I thought I was
