my spec is legion 5 laptop with i7-12700h + rtx 3070 + 16gb ddr5 + ssd
That said, the first time i installed the game and played it was after the patch.
I have vsync off, 4k, epic everything (including RT), DLSS quality. FPS locked at 117 (3 under the TV's refresh rate)
Maybe i'm not noticing it because of gsync?
It isn't a very demanding game - at least for a 4090. GPU usage is normally around 50+%
hrmmm.. maybe i'll try it with DLSS off to see if it look better (tho it already looks great.)
turning off dlss in dead space made the textures look much better.

true, sometimes i still get stutters but not like before forcing vsync On on nvidia driver
sadly even in medium to high end pcs almost all high budget games and ports on pc gaming now have stuttering, it's like the new normal :(
Yep just tried it, it did nothing still stuttering like mad
upgrade ur trash CPU
my i7 is not "trash" and the game run smoothly 60fps all the time, only stutter i have is during loading or the star of cutscenes
On that note, game ran just fine on recommended "epic" settings and 70% res scale at 4k. I just downgraded it to "high" because the glow of some projectiles was square for some reason. At first I thought it was just a different kind of projectile but no, it was a graphic error.
Personally, I have left RT on and am playing the game at maxed out 1440p settings with a framerate between 100 and 120 fps (capped) on my G-SYNC display. There is stuttering, of course, but it doesn't seem too intrusive and it is no worse than other games I have played recently, such as Dead Space Remake or Hogwarts Legacy.
Hopefully this issue can be fixed completely because, minimal as the stuttering is, it still distracts from what otherwise feels like a really polished game graphically.
also the ingame vsync for me was broken anyway, maybe it is for everyone idk.. enabling the vsync ingame always locked my framerate to 59fps and not 60 and due to that i had a constant stuttering issue.. using nvidias driver vsync locks it to 60fps and hte stuttering is completely gone
