Just beat Act One and Act Two on my first run

Becoming quite popular to post things like these haha. Do people just like brownie points or something? Roguelike games get harder as you unlock/progress. Doing it on your first run is impressive in the means of you ain't seen nothin yet =P.

To answer your question, no. The 3rd act is completed after you collect shards that now spawn in the biomes. Once you do that, just beat the game again and that's Act 3. And then of course you still have the tower of sisphyus.

It's possible, after i died 6 times in biome 1 I just went through biome 1 to 6 (final boss included) in one cycle (i died a couple of times but i had the astronauts doll and the rebuilder activated). Great game but not so incredibly hard as they saying.

btw i used a dual sense, no k/m.

I'm thinking about playing exclusively with dual sense now. K+M is probably making the whole thing too easy, don't think the game was balanced around using it.

I'll probably continue playing until I unlock the tower but I really don't want to do any more haunted house events lol that ♥♥♥♥ is so stressful

the fun fact is that there are stats that can prove if people beat the game with or without deaths, so i don't get the butthurt.

I totally believe you. I am one boss away from finishing it in one go too. It's the most forgiving roguelike I've played, although I'm not exactly a connoisseur. The thing is, the game works pretty well as non-roguelike too. It has decent story and plenty of hours of gameplay if you explore thoroughly.

Like what? We can't see how many hours they played the game. They do have a screenshot of 0 deaths, but they seem to imply it's their very first run ever.

In the monsters database you can see how many time you have been killed from them, in your total walkthrough combined. Personally, i have 6 deaths from 3 different monster of biome 1, and zero deaths from the monsters of biome 2 to 6, included last boss. Sure maybe it's not his real first run, but still doing it in one single run is a great achievement, tremendously satysfing.

Didn't know that . Technically I've died once in the tutorial by a charging Titanops which basically 1-shotted me, but 6th biome is not over yet, so there is still time.

you didn't know because you can access the databse only from the ship, and we never came back to the ship yet :trollface:
