falling to death bug

this happened twice, i fall to my death or w.e. and the screen goes black. i can move and hear everything but no visual. i have to run forward or wherever to fall off the ledge again to get visual back. anyone know any other work around or way i can report a bug? lol. this didnt happen on ps5.

I also have this issue but it doesn't happen every time I fall only sometimes

I just alt-f4 and log back in. It's happened me a couple of times. As in, literally two.

No no, when I alt-f4 I just log back where I was right next to the hole I fell into. I just pause the game, alt-f4 and when I get back in I'm in the same place. There may be a risk of losing the entire run I guess? But the only time this has happened to me (and I lost very little) was with a power outage at my place earlier today. Rest I just load right back where I was.

you can alt+f4 and when you relaunch, you'll continue where you left off. you don't lose any progress. I've had it happen twice so far in maybe 15-20 falls.

ooohhh that's great to know lmao. on PS5 if you just exit the game without suspending, you lose your whole run, so i assumed it was the same here ahaha. and ya if only happened a couple times to me but it can really mess up a run.

So I've experienced this bug, and I can tell you the risk of doing it, at least in my case (unsure if it's just another related bug) - it basically reset the translocators. As a result, I got to the end of one of the corridors where you have to drop down to fight in Biome 5, beat it, picked up the item and then went to the translocator only to find that it wasn't activated, so I couldn't get out.

Also, I didn't experience it falling - I died in a run and the game got stuck. Had to exit and reenter, and then for the rest of the run, any death/fall resulted in a black screen. So also unsure if, once it's happened, you'll constantly get it?

All I know is, early runs were basically hassle free. As I've unlocked more items and progress in my attempts to finish Biome 6 (or more often, killed on 5), I've experienced more and more bugs.

Happens to me in the 4th Biome. Seen it happen 3 times.

Alt+F4 and reload works.
