Edit: Never happened since.
I haven't had it happen yet (over about 4 hours) with all RT set to epic.
I also probably haven't played more than a couple of hours straight yet though.
Fatal error seems to only happen when you're having a good run. Mine keeps crashing whenever I have the pylon weapon equipped on the second area (after first boss)
I dont use RT and still get these crashes.
And made video setting to middle, vertical sync off, max fps 60.
And now it is ok, but developers should fix it, it is crap )
- FPS cap at 75
- Installed vp9 codex from the Microsoft Store (win10)
- Did a little tweak to force EOSoverlay to run with the game (Epic Store Overlay) which is described on a reddit post (search for "How to prevent the eos overlay from running on")
(it really did make the EOS not running when playing the game). More stability tbh. I don't know if it breaks the online mode or multiplayer stuff.
So far so good. Also, the dev's are working for a new patch so maybe I won't have to do all that to play.
