Disable "Double-Tap W to Sprint"?

Is there a way to do this? We already have a dedicated key for sprinting, I don't want to accidentally sprint while tapping W.

Yes please! I second this. I was also playing and character would randomly start sprinting, realized it was due to double tapping direction keys :(

There should be an option you can change to "always sprint". This is coming from PS5 player, I'm sure they transferred it to PC.

That's in the game's settings on PC, but isn't what I or others here are asking for.

Might by a way to suggest you should always be sprinting. ;)

But yeah, like the request for a ‘walk’ key, this should be an option for people who so desire.

I read fine, check settings, there's several options for sprint, and you pretty much always want to sprint when not firing, so....yeah if you'd played, you'd have realised that. Non issue.

You clearly have yet to play the game or you'd understand. There is no need for a double tap or lack thereof. I double tap all the time and never sprint. Sprint is always on for me if not shooting. Therefore non -issue

I have 13 hours in the game, please forever shut up with this "you haven't played the game" nonsense. Just because you've never noticed that double tapping W causes you to sprint, doesn't mean it's not there. There are other people IN THIS VERY THREAD agreeing that it is in the game and needs a setting to be disabled.

Just because something is a "non-issue" to you, doesn't mean it's not to other people. But thanks for bumping the thread, troll.

You are literally missing the point, either ignorant or on purpose to troll.

This this game has built in double tap to sprint, no matter what settings you use. Personally I have "always sprint" set up, so it doesn't concern me, but if someone prefers to have it on toggle or hold, then they can accidentaly start sprinting even though they don't want to. This is a problem.
