adaptive triggers?

so i played this game for 50 hours on ps5, i know what adaptive triggers add to the game\immersion.
i am connecting ps5 controller with cable and still nothing is adapting, not even detecting that im using ps5 controller in game but steam does. anyhow, anyone got it working properly?

Man the PS5 Dual sense support has never worked on any games it was advertised to, I'm really curious about this myself. I think I read something like you basically have to disable all other controller supports in the settings and only have Playstation Support. I have tried this but it seems Steam Controller Support always has to be enabled

damn. i hope others can help us, tbh it's not a deal breaker but come on steam\master race where are the pros at?

Disable Steam Input (Properties/Controller) for this game. In the control options for the game you now see the Dual Sense controller and can activate adaptive trigger.

works fine for me even with steam input on, but I updated the controller's firmware just before starting the game, might have something to do with it

This is correct. You may also need to deselect the audio device output and input device in Windows to NOT be the Dualsense.
