Why can't I change my settings to full screen windowed?

I'm stuck at 1080p in windowed mode (even tho the game is clearly in full screen mode), I'd like to use it in full screen windowed to have it at 2k but no matter what I try to do I just can't change the window mode, is there some kind of fix?

If it's like any other Sony made game, they only allow windowed and borderless. It's annoying

If it's like any other Sony made game, they only allow windowed and borderless. It's annoying

yeah but I don't have the option to switch to borderless, that's the weird thing, I can only play windowed at 1080p

I seriously don't understand, the titles in the beginning are windowed fullscreen at 2k but as soon as it loads the game goes back to fullscreen 1080p and I can't change the settings to windowed fullscreen :(

this is stupid, I've tried to redownload and reinstall the game, set only one screen (the one at 2k) and YET I still can't choose full screen windowed! The game just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opens in 1080p "windowed" (even tho, again, is in full screen at 1080p even tho my native resolution is 2k) and I just can't change the setting! How can I be the only one with this dumb problem!

also whenever I try to change the screen setting (lowering from 1080p to 720p for example) and save the game just doesn't save the settings, wtf is this ♥♥♥♥

I think there's something wrong with your graphics drivers... The game runs in fullscreen like a charm.

I'm on the lastest drivers and I can run any other game in full screen windowed or any other window setting, 2k, no problem, this game doesn't let me change the settings. Works great at 1080p but I want to see it in 2k and the game won't let me change the settings wtf

No, it allows Fullscreen, Windowed borderless, and Windowed.
