Is this game too difficult?
I am used to play dark sould and FS games, but isnt this game just way too hard? I did not watch any gameplay or review to prevent myself from spoilers, so I just wanna ask. TY

If you like Dark Souls you'll probably enjoy this towards the end it gets insanely hard but its so worth it with its challenge.

Yeah on PS5, only 21% of players finished the game. You can't just grind levels or anything like that to brute force your way through. This requires pure skill to complete.

Dont you think that the reason is that the game is just too frenetic / fast for a controller?

It doesn't have any difficulty settings iirc, and I'll admit on PS5 at one point I had to put it down. Persistence is key though, I was amazed picking it up later with how you genuinely do get better as a player, utilising your kit, understanding the different weapons/artifacts, and recognising the enemies. It'll be a bit different to Dark Souls because the intensity seems higher and it's obviously shooter-orientated. The action kicks off almost immediately so you should be safe to get a pretty good feel for it within the 2-hour refund window.

Roguelike games, especially bullet hell ones are about persistence, skill and reflex with a tid bit of luck on getting the right rolls on gear to help out. This game is no exception. My first encounter with a titanops went about as well as you'd expect, he hit me two times before I saw the timing on his swings haha, but boy did those hits hurt. Then I had to do 3 rooms of enemies with a sliver of HP. Heart pounding, but rewarding!

More like luck not being stuck with garbage weaps and relics

This game gets more difficult the further you get through the levels. It's also rogue like where you will die and every new instance you start over you can get a little further. It's really fun and challenging.
