Dualsense - Possible to get Adaptive Triggers over Bluetooth?
My problem is the game won't even recognize the controller over Bluetooth with SteamInput disabled. Enabling SteamInput basically turns it in to an Xbox controller. Is this the same situation for everyone?

Yes, connect it with a usb type-c cable to pc to get full dual sense support.

The DualSense features are not natively supported over bluetooth.

I haven't tried, but some third-party tools may let you use the adaptive triggers over bluetooth.

I'm not aware of any tool or driver that will enable the audio-based haptics over bluetooth at all though.

Off topic: Sony makes amazing gamepads but with really bad non replaceable batteries. I always play wired using their controllers anyway. Even on consoles.

Can you get the dualsense to even work at all over BT without steaminput enabled?

DS4Windows emulates xbox controller. No chance it will help to get ps5 features like Adaptive Triggers.

Not in Returnal or most Sony games, no, they only really support the DualSense over USB

You can buy the program: "dsx", and its add-on: "DSX - Virtual DualSense Emulation", and you can connect the controller via Bluetooth, put dual sens emulation in this program, and now you can run a game that supports adaptive triggers, for example: spider man miles Morales, and play with adaptive triggers via Bluetooth.
