Steam Deck Performance?

Has anyone tested Returnal on the steam deck? if so, does it work well or i need to wait till its more compatible. been wanting to play on my deck but fear it could cause problems for it.

I read some days ago that SD performance is quite poor. You can't expect more than 30fps at minimum settings, with some dips.

You can get somewhat stable 30 fps with lowest settings, but the game always freezes when starting the fight with the second boss, it still hasn’t been fixed.

LMFAO WAIT REALLY? my partner was just playing it the other day and was playing it okay at 30fps

I made some adjustments and it feels fine on my Steam Deck. Most of the settings are low. I've spent 20+ hours with it so far on Steam Deck.

Do you recommend i wait for the devs of the game to optimize and update the game? currently, i see even people with good pcs having trouble running the game at decent settings.

Was working on my deck, however I'm now getting a fatal error everytime after the title / developer screens when launching. Any ideas?
