are you planning to play this with controller or M/K ?
im a bit torn on this one , i usually play games that are heavy reliant on aiming with M/K (ex: Days Gone , Horizon Zero Dawn) and games with reliant on melee attacks and dodges with controller such as God of War , Spider man ,

Returnal looks like it has a mix of both aiming and dodging so im not sure which way is best.

Third person controller, first person mouse and keyboard. At least that's how I do it.

I play every game with a controller because I can’t use a mouse and keyboard to play games

It's a third person shooter, so M+k of course

If you've got a dualsense lying around, I'd recommend using it. The game's got variable auto-aim that you can manually adjust plus some nice lock-on, and the extra feedback on the dualsense makes it more than worthwhile. Otherwise, the game's very much made to be a bullet hell action game, more about being able to appropriately react to your environment than precise aiming, so the best option is whichever you feel more comfortable dodging with.

Game supports all Dualsense features on PC so controller.

Oooh, good to know, thank you.

Controller was my answer anyway but now that I know this I'm even more excited to play it on my PC with the PS5 controller.

If it ends up a solid port and I buy it, M/KB all the way.

To each their own, but for me dualsense haptics dont really do anything beyond the first half-hour of "Oooh, that's kinda neat."

Played on PS5 already and the Dualsense Features are pretty cool in this one. Will be using M&K on PC tho

I have the DualSense so I will definitely want to try the advanced haptics and triggers, but come on, with a 60g Superlight it probably wont last long until I go M+KB.

if you have a DualSense controller, plug it in and use it with this game. it's a really cool tactile experience on PS5 that im looking forward to again on pc

I played it on my ps5 , this game need mouse cuz you need to aim a lot , and fast , controller is no where near good for fast aiming ,alot of creatures on the planet moving fast
