For real! I am still going to double dip and buy it on Steam. So excited.
hope so too, haha
You know you can still use the dualsense controller on PC if you so choose.
I finished the game entirely on PS5 as well but maybe it's just me but there's no way I could play this kind of game with M/K, will look forward to playing it on my Elite 2 controller when it comes out.
Feels so much better than the PS5 controller for me and is one of the major drawbacks of the system, I know i'm in the minority of people when I say that though lol.
Really? I wouldn't have thought it would have been too difficult for them to implement it for something like Returnal though. It would be a shame if they didn't bring it across for PS5 controllers at least but I get it if they can't do it.
The Elite 2 controller has manually adjustable triggers but it's not the same as having the game adapt to different firing modes on the fly. I had actually totally forgot about that feature on them and yeah it was done really well in Returnal, easily the best feature of the PS5 controller.
Ghostwire Tokyo and Death Stranding DC both have it fully enabled and working on PC
Ah nice one mate, thanks heaps for confirming that. Yeah it's what I had assumed initially considering how much Sony went out of their way a few times before the launch of the PS5 to advertise how well the controller works on PC. Had thought it would have been a massively missed opportunity if they didn't bring over support for adaptive triggers across as well since it couldn't possibly be that difficult to do.
I might just break out that controller and test it out on Ghostwire tonight since i've been meaning to play that game for ages and it's been just sitting in my backlog since launch.
Then they did the co-op update, and a guy helped me through that and basically taught me the game and how to properly loot the levels. With his help I got past level 3, but we were so OP with our loot that level 3 boss lasted less than 30 seconds lol. More like 10-15 seconds. He melted like butter in a microwave lol.
With what I learned, I was able to get by the level 4 boss on my own, but then Horizon Forbidden West came out, I shifted off, and haven't been back to take a serious crack at finishing Returnal.
I still plan to but TLDR: there's a science to looting and the gear that once you realize it makes things a lot easier....oh and get gud at not getting hit lol!!! Sound cliche but you REALLY don't want to get hit in this game.
Makes sense, as it's a bullet hell roguelike game just like enter the gungeon and similar games. Easy game once you know the patterns and get better guns.
