And even on the campus that originally unlocked it, I don't think it's used well. I never see anyone "enter" the pads, they seem to just appear on them and then walk back inside of a building. So I'm not even sure how they are supposed to function.
I thought they would let students jump from one campus plot to another but like I said, I never see anyone enter a pad. They just seem to randomly teleport from somewhere inside a building, onto the pads and then have to walk back inside to get where they were going, I can't say it has ever shortened anyone's trip.
Yeah this seem to be the case, tried building them on the next 2 maps in that campaign and noone ever used it
It can be used on other campus, but only by students that get the beam up skill, which I think might only be space cadets, so you'd have to open space academy course in other schools
