Spiffinmoore tips?!

Anyone got any tips?
Its as frustrating as hell. I keep going totally bankrupt.
I know I had a similar issue with an earlier campus and have tried all the tactics i used then to get this one going, but nope ... i still dont seem to be making any money.
tips please?!

something i used was to make everyone join the Nature Club... this made the students help clean up all the mess from the attacks and storms; leaving the janitors free to deal with the invaders

I second slow build and Nature Club. Lots of medical and pastoral support. I din't think I cut any staff wages but I believe I didn't give them any raises until I made good monthly income. Just patience and take things slow. Took me years to get 3 stars.

I prefer the sleep club as it keeps energy up without having to go back to the dorm. And Pastoral/Medical rooms cause more problems than they solve.

You don't need to cheese it like some of the tips here are suggesting. The key for me was making sure I expanded into the plots in sequential order (since the price increases with plot number). The beginning was rough, but once you get to the point you can take out a Smell My Cash loan and manage it appropriately it's just a matter of time.

It took me 7 years to 3-star the level. Making minimum-sized rooms helped with getting the most out of the space available along with building custom buildings to use as much of the grassy areas as possible.
