[Q] Spoilers Re: ELVIS

I'm at the point where you have to fight Elvis and I've defeated the robots and thrown everything I have at Elvis and he still has full health (despite some weapons showing what damage should be done).

What am I missing?

I've even lowered the difficulty to Narrative and still after 30mins he's still at 300 health...

I've thrown Acid/Napalm, no effect. I've thrown him into barrels, no effect. I've used Miasma/shotguns/Snipers/Disc Throwers... no effect.

dont kill him, just kill the robots?

Done that, there was only Elvis and the dude in the ball/shield thing... lol.

I killed Elvis first simple, I just ran and rammed him as the robot, then shot him with all three heros and he died, but I couldn't live long enough to kill the robots and get his shield down. This was the first time thru bout to try again

Something about having to fight Elvis sounds so very wrong...

I understand the scanario. As a Boomer, I keep thinking about "real" Elvis and "his blue suede shoes"...

Thanks Rush, you are right. I completely ignored Elvis and just concentrated of the several waves of robots. Grouping them together, EMP to freeze them and then obliterate with Acid/etc. Rinse and repeat....

Something seems to have changed; I have seen videos where Elvis takes damage but in my game today he was untouchable although I could knock him down and remove his armor but his health never went down so will try just taking out the other robots.

Yeah, I just ended up ignoring him and concentrating on the several waves of robots

FYI you should insta regret buying this game: there is a bug that makes elvis and last boss immortal - happened to me at Iron Man difficulty, and my entire save was gone. Report it to the steam support, and get your refund. Game is broken and the devs left this garbage behind.

Because last fight isn't about killing Elvis or Quentin? And they need to be alive in 2nd phase? You even have quest saying what you need to do: "Kill 10 Collectors". Game isn't broken and you lost due to your own stupidity.

You are pretty much clueless about the entire situation. I've killed 10 collectors, and it caused the game to crash, making all the characters immortal. Before you say anything, get a clue. Obviously, you are the type of customer that literally allows vendors to sell you ♥♥♥♥ and still say thanks after that. Stop embarrassing yourself on the internet :)

It's been a while since I finished the game. From what I remember, you cannot and are not supposed to try and kill Elvis. Just keep him away from the party while you kill all the waves of mobs. Eventually Elvis will break free and realise that he is on your side and then there is one final fight which I won't spoil for you ;)

Basically, you cannot beat the game without him so you need him alive.

The story makes sense however the execution is beyond pitiful. The comparison with the game of Thrones is spot on. It's the cringe dialog who ruins it... It's like someone created a decent novel but had absolutely no idea how to translate it as a game.

Since I just completed it and all I had to do was kill the 10 collectors, I decided to look into what you were so viciously attacking this person about; an emortal game breaking bug? I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

Also couldn't you just reload to an earlier save?
