No point of no return and no way to play after completing the game.
Just finished the game. I enjoyed it, but I really don’t get the design choice to not allow playing the game after finishing the story to collect all the miasma’s, collectibles of playing the side quests. Nor having a message saying that you are entering a point of no return.

Or am I missing something?

There is actually a message of "point of no return" before you enter the last area, you must have missed it.

Hmm okay. I have completely missed that one. That sucks :P because I don’t have a save game that is even close to the last area. I

Where or when would that happen at as it never showed or was differently not high om priority.

If I remember well, it's right before you embark in the quest called "Infiltration". There is a red barrier near the entrance of DRC if you follow the path to the right. At some point in the main story you are given a quest to take the First Family Factory down, and right before you make the transition you will be warned that any side quests or pending business will become unavailable if you progress through.

There isn't really. The point of no return actually happens as you first enter the factory. When you get the message the miasma in closing in and taking territories. At this point only travel within one is available. Any quests you haven't completed are lost.

Are you like, dumb or something?

"There is no message, other than the message you get when you enter the factory saying that the miasma is taking territories and you won't be able to complete any more side quests".

I can't fathom how some people can even find the button to turn on their PCs.

It doesn't say you can't complete any side quests, it just says miasma is taking territories, it's only AFTER you see the message that you realise what it meant.

You should get the message with plenty of warning to stop, it should be clear cut that if you proceed with this mission, you fail all outstanding missions and will be unable to return to previous areas, which it clearly doesn't..

or the OP would not have made the thread.

There should be a popup that you are required to select ok on to proceed, acknowledging the no return moment.

Who is the dumb one again?

It literally says that after that point you won't be able to complete side quests. Literally, with those words. Stop lying, you just keep doing this. It's dumb.

Come on Martin stop lying to and misleading others.

There is literally a big rectangle box warning pop right up in the middle of the screen when you accept the final quest line and talk to the NPC, saying some shops and side missions will not be available if you proceed. And yes you need to click to proceed.

I spent nearly all my plastics after I saw that message. After that you can still access the DRR shops some time later before the final battle, but not the other ones and side missions.

Afair the message is there but you can easily miss it because they implemented it poorly by changing the map transition text and every normal player like myself just click "yes" after 20-30hrs without reading it anymore and i loaded back because i just saw a bit more text than usual and wanted to read it but again, very easy to miss if you're on the fly.
