Before you had to use the reload action to get new rounds.
Correct. You use the reload action to get new rounds. So, wait. Is the swapping guns to reload a mechanic they want now? I wasn't sure since the reload action costs an AP and swapping guns costs 0 AP. Sort of makes the reload action pointless now (if it's intentional).
There wouldn't be a point in having a reload button that cost AP at all if they made it so switching back and forth just gave you an auto refill for no action or time cost.
OK, the way Zen said it was introduced in the last patch, I thought they did it intentionally. I like reloading on my own. Adds some nice strategy to combat. Good to know.
Sorry if it was not clear enough.
