BUG: Gun Reloading
I'm assuming this is a bug since we specifically have a reload action that costs an AP.

You can reload your gun for free right now as long as you have a 2nd gun equipped. If one gun has 0 ammo, on that character's turn, if you hit R to swap to your next weapon... it causes the empty gun to fully reload. And you don't even need to use the other gun. You can hit R, swap, hit R again... back to your once empty gun... fully reloaded for no AP cost.

Just an FYI. Really enjoying the game, though! Picked it up during the sale and already have quite a bit of time into the game.

Yes, it was introduced in the last patch.

Before you had to use the reload action to get new rounds.

Correct. You use the reload action to get new rounds. So, wait. Is the swapping guns to reload a mechanic they want now? I wasn't sure since the reload action costs an AP and swapping guns costs 0 AP. Sort of makes the reload action pointless now (if it's intentional).

It's a bug. It was reported after the last patch and the community manager here said they reported the bug to the devs and it'll likely be fixed in the next patch.

There wouldn't be a point in having a reload button that cost AP at all if they made it so switching back and forth just gave you an auto refill for no action or time cost.

OK, the way Zen said it was introduced in the last patch, I thought they did it intentionally. I like reloading on my own. Adds some nice strategy to combat. Good to know.

I saied yes to it being a bug, and that it was not there before the last patch.
Sorry if it was not clear enough.

I was both pleased and sad that this bug got patched ;)

I love the update because it is more balanced, but when I have to reload my sniper rifle every turn... I wish it was bugged again LOL
