If you're experiencing performance issues in the game, here are a few tips to help improve your FPS:

• Update your graphics drivers: Make sure you have the latest version of your GPU drivers.
  
• Lower your graphics settings: If you're struggling to maintain a good framerate, reduce settings like shadows, draw distance, and visual effects.
  
• Disable Lumen: Lumen can be resource-intensive. You can disable it in the graphics settings to improve performance.
  
• Use an SSD: QANGA spans a massive 25 million km² with seamless world loading. Playing from an SSD is highly recommended to avoid slowdowns.
  
• Restart the game: Sometimes, simply restarting the game can increase your FPS from 15 to 60 for no apparent reason. We’re using Unreal Engine 5, and some features of Unreal 5 are still experimental in the rendering industry, which may cause unexpected performance variations.
  
• Test the demo: Remember that the demo is there to test your hardware's capability before investing in the full game. If you have issues with the demo, it may indicate that you need to adjust some settings for the full game.

Good Info. I played the Demo on RTX 4090 Presetting to High Settings and Under "Lumen" changing that to Medium Quality helped while keeping the Beautiful light Lumen provides and turning my Shadows down to "Medium"

Hi,
It does play better than three weeks ago the drops are less frequent and often something like switching resolution up and down gets rid of it (at least for me). That's an improvement.
But over the game doesn't look all that great even on the balanced, down the middle graphical options. Not that I'd be expecting a Elite Dangerous crispy clarity but something up with the shades and shadows. Is that it?
Also I do have continuous issue with not being able to complete quests. At the last checkbox the quest simply doesn't register me dropping the delivery or trying to complete it by talking to an NPC. So far every quest after the initial tutorial.
I will try restart the progression, but don't know if that's gonna help.

Can't seem to get more than 20 to 25 fps. I've tried multiple graphics settings. I'm running on a gaming laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz, 32 Gigs of ram. Any help would be appreciated.

okay so for my part, the game runs much much better, on foot on planet and when flying in atmo, however the moment i got into space and looked at earth i loose all control over the ship it does not respond to any movement inputs and the frame rate drops to 1/5th the prior while on world.

DEMO: System meets specs, set everything to LOW, any attempt to move causes screen to blur, freeze then suddenly snap into focus and not lag until I move again, turning is not as bad but still jerks around. My drivers are up to date, I run games with far more demanding settings than this is set to. Some options such as anti-alias if you disable the game outright crashes the instant its set. This later issue is clearly not my system.

Is the DEMO well behind the released version and this is a known problem?

What graphics Chipset is your video card? Mines an AMD So I can honestly say that with my graphics card, the heat builds up at an alarming rate on the GFX Driver Pref Monitor; but I've noticed after fiddling with the gfx settings in the game, the lowest that's actually "playable" due to distortion is Medium. Have you tried setting graphics Preset "Medium" yet? Also the crash in the demo doesn't happen for me when toggling setings, it could be another cause.

i9 14900K / RTX 4070 here,
I am guessing this game is heavy on one core CPU?
Cause i have low CPU utilization / HIGH temps (70-100°C on good cpu AiO).
If so - please make multi core update.
