Warp modulation - upgrades warp behavior. Stats that can be affected:
- warp target alignment speed.
- engines heat-up time.
- warp speed in-system
- warp speed between systems.
Other stats affecting ships speed, maneuverability, available energy and energy recharge could be added.
<<After we lock a warp target with MMB, please allow players to cancel it by pressing MMB again.>>
You can cancel it by pressing 'B', although I like your solution more.
<<Allow the same thing after the target is locked, and engines are heating up. Just press the boost again to cancel the heat-up.>>
Pressing left SHIFT 'freezes'/stops the charging (heating) up (after calibration).
<<Last - cancel Warp. >>
Press+hold 'B' drops you out of warp (cancels warp)
If you're asking for another method to cancel warp target/heat-up/warp, I agree.
Just wanted to point out that some functionalities are already implemented.
Sugestion: HUD text under target indicating how to cancel each procedure.
