Finding Koron's Lab (spoilers?)

I'm on the "Rebuilding a Friend" mission and I'm supposed to find Koron's Lab at Xunvars planet. I follow the waypoints in the station where I met Smen, waypoint says elevator. I go into the elevator and then the waypoint points me back to the same elevator I just rode.

I went ahead to the planet Xunvars but I don't see a waypoint or a point for Koron's Lab. How can I find it, is the mission waypoint being stuck on elevator causing the problem?

Ok, I just went into the planets atmosphere and I was automatically headed straight for the lab. I thought I had to find it on the planet but apparently you just automatically go to the current mission waypoint when you enter the atmosphere. Cool rain and storm effect on the planet though.

I couldn't even get on the planet. Is this a bug?

Maybe try saving, exiting, and reloading? I was able to just fly at the planet and after an atmospheric entry animation it just automatically aimed me at the lab.

I believe you can also hit the Warp key (B maybe?) and pick from targets on the planet and it will warp you there.

ya not working for me i just kleep spawn inside the planet and opening the warp only shows me other stuff nothing marked as "Koron's Lab" and not even able to target lock the other things to warp anyways

That happens for a few missions- - if it doesnt exist and part of the questline - i think just enter the atmosphere and it will pop you at location.

I had the same issue, I saved when entering the planet. Xondas? Anyway, had no navigational marker for the quest so flew around the planet aimlessly a bit. Ended up landing at some random outpost way above my level, got absolutely destroyed, loaded save and BAM. There was a map marker in orange with "??" on it in navigational mode (B). Hope it helps.

Yeah, this quest is bugged out. To be able to hit B to even warp to the planet I had to reload many times. Now I made it to the planet, but the lab is not listed as a POI... this is broken.
