4.0 station capturing, stuck on start invasion phase

Title says it easiest. using a file pre 4.0 that wasnt too far into the game yet (just started the faction and had a handful of soldiers) i went on to increase the faction strength, gather forces to fill the newly applied spaces for generals and ground forces and went on to plan my first station capture. Went through the fighting in space as normal though now that i have all the support buildings it just tells me start invasion. Went to the spot, left the main building back to a support building and came back again and if its meant to be a button prompt or something i am not seeing anything. How am i supposed to start the invasion?

I am having the exact same issue, after googling it you used to press ctrl + mmb to initiate next phase but now theres no prompt or anything, I am kinda mad as I just tried the battle 3 times over after loading various saves with the exact same result ._.

Found the solution, park your ship and go by feet to the door with "start invasion" circle
Just go close by feet don't use the jetpack :) The ground invasion will start

oui faut appuyer sur "F" devant la porte ça lance le combat au sol, mais attention c est bien bug , pas d escorte NOVA et les ennemis sont nul !!! on est bien loin de la super Mise à jour promis ....puff

did getting close to to the "start invasion" work for anyone? ive reloaded 3 times and have been standing next to the circle for some time now.

oui faut éliminé tous les vaisseaux enemis , puis rejoindre le lieu 'Star invasion' et devant la porte faut se coller à la porte et appuyer sur "F" meme si y a rien affiché, pour moi sa marche ainsi !

You have to go close to the "start invasions" circle and press F

can confirm going up to the "start invasion" point on foot and pressing F worked. TY for the help :)
