I chose Bower 99, simply a nice quiet pocket to begin with, easy to conquer and make my home, system 99 because it's easy to remember.........Mawan (N5) once conquered gate tax 40 per cent pulls in 2.5m gate fees, what is not to like especially after taking all the space twice, I am hoping tomorrow is not 3rd time lucky.
because it's the only system i could find that i can build in
Diode, 100%. It's a main hub system in the sector right next to your first enemy faction (Seragon), with no faction ownership other than a local house, so you don't even need a war to conquer the system. Has several open planets and a Freelancers guild.
I'm not sure, but You might be able to build another Capitol station elsewhere.
1. Taking over exiting factories/research stations of other factions. They generate resources per day.
2. Buying resources from the trading section of faction tab.
I 100 per cent recommend raiding to begin with, building your own station costs a small fortune and it is by far the easiest way to do it, fund the build with stolen parts and sell off the extra parts to fund the build with cash, after you have your own Capitol station, just steal the small independent houses stations in future, it's quicker, cheaper and far more fun.
