Alliance War

Hello,

Thanks for this game! It is great fun, but I have a doubt concerning the main story.

In the mission "Alliances", there is a war and we need to take sides, Falron or Mortha. I chose Falron, and then an alliance was formed; the alliance manages all your forces and many battles are happening, but several hours later nothing has really changed (the predominance bar barely moves), and I am not sure of what to do. I tried to participate in some of the battles, but as I am all alone with my small guard (pressing F1) my influence in the battle is negligible to say the least.

So I am stuck in the mission.

Is this a bug? Do I need to spend hours and hours until the thing resolves by itself? Is there anything I can do to accelerate things (as participating in the battles seems to do nothing)?

When it comes to your point, this mission is currently one we need to optimize/balance, and we're already working on it. For now, you can try conquering a few more systems. I apologize for this issue :/

After how long does this happen upon a fresh start ?
I used to play the game upon release when there was only the Drane cinematic and no capital ship etc.
Should I wait a bit more before starting fresh and invest time ?

It's totally up to you but right now we are focused on fixing the bugs and making enormous optimization in the game. So my personal advice is starting the game after the full release. Though gameplay is getting better, and it's in a good place actually.
