An Unreal process has crashed: UE4-SB2
It's impossible to play! Every half an hour I face this problem! Who can help with this?

Getting this same error and have not been able to fix it. I was able to play for a few hours and then it crashed with this error. Now it wont even load the game...same crash every time. I verified files, reinstalled the game, ran as admin.

Guys, try this out:

+ Unplug HOTAS.
+ Re-install Prereq from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceBourne 2\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us
+ Also you can try this out: Go appdata > Local > SB2 > Remove "Save" folder out of there and paste it to the desktop - Or you can delete the "Config" folder which is inside of "Saved" folder.

If these solutions don't help, let me know please. I hope it can be solved when you try one of these.

I did everything you said. Except HOTAS, which I don't have. After 15 minutes of playing the game I got the same error!

When I removed "Save" folder out of appdata > Local > SB2 > and paste it to the desktop I got:

Update: Since you deleted the save folder, the settings have been reset, and the game went full screen, causing the display settings to be messed up. To fix this, follow these steps: Go to the menu, click on Settings, then go to the Video section. Find the 'Window Mode' option and select 'Windowed'.

I did - click on Settings, then go to the Video section. Find the 'Window Mode' option and select 'Windowed'

Three minutes later, I see it again

You can try to lower the graphic settings. I once had the same problem (D3D device being lost). What helped on my side was setting "Shadows" from "Epic" to "Low". I haven't tested Medium and High, because I was happy that I didn't got this message any more. Currently I use Epic again and have no problems. Don't know why. I assume changes with 4.1.6+

So my advice:
Set everything to low and see if the problem persists. If not, turn back one-by-one the settings until you notice the crashes. For me it was Shadows.
