Brotherhood Mission

Seems to be a lack of civilian ships in this game. Trying to complete brotherhood mission jumping to random system stargate and stations for a couple of hours now ,all ships are fighters and such but are all about 30 levels above mine (15) . Any way of finding civilian ships?

Move to a low level system with a low security rating. Park outside of a hub, open comms with anything that is low level. Agress and kill. You only need a single kill to finish mission.

doesnt work for me, i am outside a Hub talked to one agressively then killed 10 ships and the security that showed up and the quest still is open.

In general, it makes no sense to download ranks with the fraternity because the guild itself is not completed and will not rise above the 1st rank.
I got an inscription. Ready to rank up. Wait until you are contacted, I have been waiting for 10 hours of real time, everything is not being contacted =)

Did you loot the cargo crate any of them dropped?

Went to a couple of low security station hubs all that I found was 8 fighters all above level 37 no civilian ships I am level 15 so no match for those ships. Combat balance is off in this game even pilot missions are all two levels above mine.

You know you literally get to choose which Contract to take yes? They have Levels on them.

It's a mission for the brotherhood , scan and take cargo from civilian ship , mission has no level, just civilian ship. So far 20 station hubs in low security system have been populated by between 6-11 fighters all 32 level and above no civilian ships. Contracts have levels, all are minimum three times higher than mine which makes them unbeatable. This game is not balanced for beginners - mining takes 60% of product , bounty starts level 27. Pilot missions are at least 2-3 above your own level.Just saying there are a lot of road blocks to progression. I still think it's a grate game , just not balanced. ;)

You said "even pilot missions are all two levels above mine". That's what I was referring to. As for the Brotherhood 1st Contract, I was able to pop a LvL 26 ship while at LvL 15 Ship (mostly upgraded to epic everything) without too much problem, then looted the cargo and booked it before the cops showed up, Contract complete.

Something I had to learn from someone else about space combat. Hit up arrow twice to max Weapons, then blast away while using 4 to help protect your ship (in Dad's ship) because you're Shield regen is set nearly to 0 at that point. Pop T4 Shield consumables as needed and it's not as hard as it seems.

EDIT: Just read more clearly, either your game is bugged or you're not being honest. Bounty hunting has Contracts as low as your Level, at least as low as 13. I'm in the process right to raising it to get to Epics. Gotta scroll down to the bottom, Rank 50 most wanted.
Pilot Contracts are all between 1-2 LvLs below you up to +4 or so above, nothing else.
There are no Contracts of any type that I've seen that are 3x your LvL, unless you mean the type where you go to the Planet to wipe out a Bandit village and the NPC's are like LvL range 38-42 while you're LvL 15 or so. You know that any reasonable Sniper Rifle can 1-shot them with head shots yes?

Bounty contract levels are a little random and you could end up with very few 'doable' ones, but there will always be at least one under L15

Shouldn't really accuse people of being dishonest. Just stated what is fact in my game I quoted the numbers on my screen. It's obvious you are having more luck than me and that's great for you , but I don't have anything Epic at the moment. I haven't started ground missions yet, so I have that to look forward to. I guess when I am able to upgrade my ship to Epic ,missions will easier. But thanks for you advice all the same. Cheers

zoom "M"ap all way out and see level range of ships in that system, then go to some station find low lv fighter and talk aggressive then robe them lol yeah another typo
they turn red kill em and boom mission done

Tis why I said "Either your game is bugged or...". I said it that way for a reason, and no, I'm not having that much luck in my game either. I can't progress the main story because of fatal crashes to desktop. Now I'm also stuck with the same fatal crash in the Bounty Hunter's Guild mission to progress to Rank 2. So back to grinding out other Guild rep I go until it's fixed.
