Where do you go to buy ships?

That's it. I don't see any place to buy a ship in the freelancer guild. Maybe I missed it.

I don't think the guilds sell ships except for the mining guild. Outposts sell small ships and the stations sell the big command ship, trade ships are sold at the trade hubs and complexes. The mining guild is the only place to get a mining ship it is the Huqe. They sell other ships that seem to depend on the locations controlling faction.

Guild Stations don't sell Ships except the Mining Guild after you've joined. And it only sells the Huqe (Mining Carrier) and occasionally the Faction Ship like Falron Tank.

Go to any Outpost or regular Station (not Faction Hangar or Trade Hub) and it has a Ship Kiosk.

And not research stations, because that's the first one I stopped at and you can't even land.

Found a ship kiosk at an outpost. I'm 5M short on all of the ships that are sold there :/

Is there a list of which systems have outposts? the map isn't helpful for this since it seems to include research stations in the count.

Hit 'M' and zoom out, every System you see zoomed out is a Hub System and will contain 1-3 Outposts and usually 1 Station. It will also have 1-2 Faction Hangars and 1 Trade Hub.

I know there are post and links, but I figured I got a few minutes and it is worth repeating...

Xeghan Warrior--->Yari (458)
Falron Tank--->Handi (1051), Chulac (G9)
Huqe--->ANY Mining Guild Station
Xanthean--->Alphaxos (N1) ((this might be more available else/every-where but I know it is sold in this system..it is where I bought mine))
Mortra Geran--->Mortra Space but also I have gotten it at Miner's Guild in (174)

The remainder ships are random @ Ship Kiosk, but common at every Kiosk afaik. I can't speak to the trade ships... haven't played with those yet.

yes and no lol. My meaning is that listed ships can be bought @ those locations. e.g. at an earlier point of the game version, the Warrior could only be bought in Yari (458).

The ships not listed are fairly common at ship Kiosk, everywhere (afaik) ...so there is no real need to list them as specific places (imho).

As to the yes part of it...

• Xeghan Warrior is probably (imho) the best all-around ship and comes stock with 7/9* ship components.
• Mortra Geran only has 2 gun slots but also with 7/9* ship slots
• The rest (from the above list) have a purpose/function, but that purpose isn't fully realized in-game yet (imho).

*=I put value on ship components because I know the game is beatable (seemingly and currently) with the crappiest of ships. More components (imho) help the average pilot have fun. Min/Max'ers (<--not meant pejoratively) will naturally gravitate to say the X-M (for example), sacrificing y to gain z

Trying to find a Xanthean with 6 weapon slot, but can't find any even after 100 reloads.
I have seeen people have found Tier 2 with 6 weapon slot and 5 probes. I see Tier 2 ships but only 5 weapon slot and 5 probes

T2 = ability to add a Unique Module from a Faction Hangar. Those with 6x Weapon hardpoints chose to add a Unique Weapon Module.
