Can't change ship fov

not sure if im doing something wrong but lctrl and the number 8 key is not changing the size of my ship and neither does lctrl number 2 is not changing anything either and when i check the settings for this it jus indicates to use those keys
i heard making your ship smaller would help with the dogfighting so any suggestions would be appreciated

You have to use the Numpad, not the numbers over the alphabet at the top of the Keyboard. Took me a hot minute to figure that out.
