Billy Mitchell started play Spacebourne? -)
Good luck, but you don’t need to announce your departures. This ain’t the SB2 star port… bye.
2) To all the people complaining about "drastic changes at this stage", such changes upsetting players, causing save loss, loss of current customers, etc., etc.:
If drastic changes are needed to make the game that much better, isn't this EXACTLY the time to make them!?!? And losing a handful of players now to have a MUCH better game when it drops v1.0 is trivial calculus to me.
3) I DO agree that it would be HELPFUL if the developer would take some time to let the community know that big changes are afoot, and/or that existing saves may not function any longer after a patch.
HOWEVER: EVERYONE should NEVER lose sight of the fact that this is a SINGLE PERSON EFFORT!! Having been in database/software development for the past 4+ decades, I can tell you that what is being done, and the pace of it, is nearly super-human. And to keep things progressing (at ALL levels, including up to huge multi-company teams), documentation, testing and interaction with others (i.e. Early Access Testers in this case) are the first things to take a back seat to throughput.

"Early Access Game
Get instant access and start playing; get involved with this game as it develops.
Note: This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development"
Either people accept this as a fact when they get involved in a early access games, or they pass on the game. A good early access game is one being worked on and get updates. The end product is what matters, not if it break your saves along the way.
It's a good thing it's wiping content HE GETS GOOD FEED BACK THEN. IT's not full release get over yourself.
You say it best...SC is a joke...don't get me wrong its a beautiful game but until its finished, and why would they FINISH it when they can HIDE behind "beta" and reap in millions...its a PTW game and those games always end up either bad or the game dies after a couple years.
