No Longer able to capture Hub systems

The first thing I used to do when starting a war with a faction was to capture the hub system, for a faction, eg N17. Then I would capture an asset in a system of said faction, then the system it's self. But now when I try to Capture a Hub system, I can only select Plunder in raid mode.

You need to use the organize raid option in the factiok menu and take the various buildings before you for capture the system.

Once you have set up the raid you get the option to capture it as opposed to doing it via the map screen.

I think he means capturing the system itself. I am trying to capture 2 systems that have gates in them and the Capture option is grayed out allowing me only to plunder. If you go to operations, that only applies to buildings and not the system itself

Have you tried jumping out and back into the system? I've found that the two actions can't be performed at the same time. You have to capture all the factions stations, jump out, jump back in, then raid cap the system. Don't know why, but I just did Seragon this way.

yeah once you conquer a station in a system you gotto warp somewhere else then come back then you can raid to capture.

I realised what the problem was. Before the update, you could capture a hub system, the ones that all the traffic goes through in that sector, and they all have the special station where you can paint your ship, add tires etc. by raiding it, even though it has several stations. None of the stations in these systems were in the list of structure that you could do and operation for, so you could just capture the whole system with a raid. Since the update these hub systems now have a station listed in the system structure list. So now you have to capture that station first, the same as any other system.

This worked for me too. Jump out then back in and you can capture the system instead of just plunder.
