I am trying to rank up my bounty hunting but. Ho do you tell how much xp you get from each one you do.
The list only Shows money not xp

I'm also trying to figure this out - my initial presumption was that the higher up the board the bounty was then the more guild ranking you would get but I'm not sure that's right.

If ranking up is based on the number of bounties you do then doing a bunch of low level bounties that you know you can do easily seems the way to go. However, most games would give you greater experience (or Guild ranking points in this case I suppose) if you took down a higher tier enemy, so do you rank up more quickly if you do the bounties of the highest level bounty you can handle? Tried Googling it but couldn't come up with an answer.

It's just a total number of bounties completed. As suggested, you can just blitz through low level ones if you want to. There's no xp reward for any of the BH missions, though they do tend to drop more pods than Freelancer missions, so there's money in the high-level bounties if you're spec'd to capture pilots.

None of the guilds require level-appropriate mission completion (you can grab missions and outlevel them if you want to), you just have to do enough of them to progress. The only difference with the BH missions is that the mission list doesn't really scale to your level.

You will have to complete ~8-10 Bounties from Rank 1 -2, then do a (fairly difficult) Mission for the Guild to progress to Rank 2. Here's the grindy part, Rank 2-3 takes ~20-25 Bounties completed, then another (fairly difficult) Mission to get Rank 3 (Legendary Components for your Ship). The lowest Levels I've seen is 13 and 16 then it's 19+ (Pilot skill). Then there's a gap from late 20's to high 30's it seems, could just be my game specifically.
