How is this Possible? 1 dev?? what?!
How is this even possible from a single developer? The visuals are superb for the price point, the game is rough, but ♥♥♥♥ it was JUST released to early access.

and stating that... how come this game feels more fleshed out already then MANY of the early access games on the market right now that have ENTIRE TEAMS of devs and QA, and Artists backing them?!

what the hell is going on in gaming where a single man can produce such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ diamond in the rough when AAA studios are releasing absolute ass blasters like Forspoken??

These are the types of devs that need Spotlights, Highlights and support from the gaming community!!

Ive only a little time in the game (because i have to go to bed... stupid job) but I literally cannot wait to play some more! Its been AGES since ive had a game that made me feel like this.

Bravo, sir... thats all i can say... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bravo!

Go watch Anthem Trailer and now go play first hour of this game. It's literally almost everything they teased in Anthem and then didn't give any of it. This DEV is the GOAT can't wait to see what game looks like in 2 years IDC if they have to release DLC to keep funds rolling in this it's addicting i'm gunna probably put 1,400 hours into it like i did with X4 Foundations before that game got stale cause Questing system was awful.

That's what i'm thinking too. I was already flashed from SpaceBourne 1 but this is another league. DBK, you have made me become a lucky man (me old freelancer whiner).

They have actual goals and vision how they want their game to look.

Unlike SC jpg nft ship hell

This question is a really good one! For me I cannot understand what the teams do in SC or ED... plenty of money, menpower and knowhow but it seems to like they standing still after they release the initial launches.

Well the teams in SC trying to develop their own game engine most of the time, this here is ready to use UE4 which comes with a lot of assets ready to use.

SC tries to physicilies everything... it's just their vision. This game doesn't have a single item you can interact with, which is fine because the dev envisioned his game like it is.

SC is multi massive online... this game is singleplayer only.

SC has no loading screens anywhere. This game has nice transitions between space, stations, planets, rooms, floors.

Thats just the tip of the iceberg I guess, I'm no developer but I can clearly see how one person can do this kind of project by being determend.

To be honest with UE4 and UE5 widely avaiable FOR FREE I think we will se a lot more of this small teams / one man show game projects like is. And I can't wait, because there is nothing better for a game as a person with a vision.

As a game developer myself, I can say that companies waste an absolute ♥♥♥♥ ton of money from changing their minds frequently, not trusting the talent of their own team, and wanting to spend too much time making something 'perfect' when such things are rarely attainable or desired by the mass consumer.

This guy can work fast because no one is there telling him he cant do something and not telling him to do it in a different way. He is free to just grind and experience the joy of making a video game.

Some day, I hope to aspire to this mans chosen path and lifestyle.
