Unlike SC jpg nft ship hell
Thats what Im getting too!! I absolutely LOVED freelancer... that game was just absolute gold.
this feels like Freelancer, in all the good ways
Well the teams in SC trying to develop their own game engine most of the time, this here is ready to use UE4 which comes with a lot of assets ready to use.
SC tries to physicilies everything... it's just their vision. This game doesn't have a single item you can interact with, which is fine because the dev envisioned his game like it is.
SC is multi massive online... this game is singleplayer only.
SC has no loading screens anywhere. This game has nice transitions between space, stations, planets, rooms, floors.
Thats just the tip of the iceberg I guess, I'm no developer but I can clearly see how one person can do this kind of project by being determend.
To be honest with UE4 and UE5 widely avaiable FOR FREE I think we will se a lot more of this small teams / one man show game projects like is. And I can't wait, because there is nothing better for a game as a person with a vision.
This guy can work fast because no one is there telling him he cant do something and not telling him to do it in a different way. He is free to just grind and experience the joy of making a video game.
Some day, I hope to aspire to this mans chosen path and lifestyle.
like having horse scrotums sag and shrink based on the biome in red dead redemption?
