Where in the HUD does it show how much armor/shields I'm losing in combat?

Been really struggling with the very cluttered HUD in this game (games enormously fun though)!! Everything's all over the place, the gun groupings for some reason cover half the hud. Most icons have no tool tips. The icons look super blurry and literally make little sense as to what they do. Hopefully a future patch refactors the HUD.

Most importantly : Where are the tracker bars for Armor/Shield for the ship?
I THINK the energy tracker is that massive blue rectangle in the bottom right but i can barely read the values and its tied to the other two weapon groups also in blue which are also equally unreadable. But I cant find anything for Armor/Shield.

This approach (an example by Everspace) looks so much more cleaner and crisp. hopefully we'll get something like this in a future patch:

In the middle left of your screen you will see your shields and armor. Shields are top left middle of your HUD blue with values, armor is just below that in red with values.

The values are opposite of your speed, which is on the middle right of the HUD.

The Energy in the bottom right is only impacted by ship activated abilities, number keys, 3,4,5, etc.

Side note, there is a setting in interface or something like that when edited changes the size of the HUD. When I play with this setting, it makes things a bit janky and overlap, I think I have to leave it at default, maybe this got turned on if things are overlapping on your HUD.
