Mining guild XP

Ive been mining for a few hours now and an only 1/4 of the way to the next level.
Is there a faster way to get XP?
Those punks in the mining guild said they are taking 25% of my mining profit lol I want to keep going but my armys eating up all my money so im going to have to stop soon to go do missions even though im trying to solely mine Asortak

So far no... it seems to get faster with Zontak/Astorak ore and the sort infinity ore vein with the hand tool set to 99% efficiency. (Just did like a 2 hour run for that and got around 500 from it)
By selling 99 from that ore the 25% are nothing compared to what the station wants... ~50%, so I only got around 700k per stack of 99.

Does it help if you sell at a station you own?

Edit: Yeah, thats horrible pricing haha I made 680k off of a stack of Astorak >.<
Geeze, it would be nice if you got some free bandages or a needle and thread so you can try close up the gaping wound from being screwed. I thought my government was bad when it came to tax.

Don't have any station. Not played the story that far atm, wanted to get some money for upgrades and ships, so I have no idea about that.

The best way to make money is bounty missions and then gather all the salvage and sell it. I make twenty or so million per full mission. Its all about he salvage.

Im still pretty low level for those. I just hit lvl 15 pilot and the only real bounty's I get are worth $3000-$4000... I guess with that possibility of salvage and prisoners they would be worth it.

I was hoping to try levelling up my mining guild so I can get a big drone ship and test it out in combat haha My fighter annihilates everything in a few seconds so I wanted to mix it up a bit.

Its not about the bounty reward. You make your money off of the space salvage. My advice is to avoid picking up the boxes unless you want to turn them in quickly. They weight on them is always 90-160 tones which eats up your space.

space boxes for some reason have stupid weight as opposed to ones you get on the ground(which seem to have 0 weight)

I accidentally went to lvl2 with the mining guild by taping down my mouse buttons and watching a few videos while my guy mined hahah

Seriously, mine on foot. you get an insane amount of ore! im up too $9 million now :P

It seems like it would be a good activity if you have to leave the house or want to go for a nap or something. I hope it gets some more love later on because it is fun to go hunting around for ore, it just sucks waiting 7 years to dig up a few boxes worth haha

Like, its almost perfect. You can see perfection on the horizon anyway.

Im still amazed 1 guy made all of this content. Theres so much a person can do its crazy.
