Mining Guild Advancement,Mining Ships and Ores

Just wondering once I hit Rank 2 hopefully this Century lol will I get new Mining Ships and Handheld Mining Gun? Or don't they exist yet? Plus if no new stuff or what ever whats the point and use to mining right now.

Combat drones ya can get for the mining ship they seem pretty useless,they pretty much die in seconds and the heal for them don't do anything I mean it doesn't even activate.

Another thing I was curious about is will there be more types of ores sometime down the road and these Ores they will be used for crafting correct? Should I save them for now for the future or just sell them?

In the ship cargo when I right click on a item it has a option to crystallize will that be used to break down stuff for crafting? I ask cause right now it doesn't do anything it seems.

You can level the rank yes, but you don't get the reward for it, because you level it up by mining (bug?) and not via a mission, so it isn't working for the moment.

I have drones, but had no time or fight to use them, I only know that there is an upgrade slot, that gives the drones a bonus on speed, power and such.

From what I know and saw, it comes later in the main story (not played that far yet), around the time where it gets unlocked to build Stations and such.

Did you manage to figure it out? Iv done what i can story wise but still no option to crystalize/doesnt do anything.

From what I've found so far in the game, mining is by far the best way to earn money fast and the only way to earn money while you sleep. Literally.

Find an asteroid with Asortak (described as "Assorted" when you scan the asteroid from your ship which REALLY looks like something in the codebase autocorrected "Asortak" into "Assorted"), set your hand-held Misc mining beam to 99% efficiency, 0% power, point it as the Asortak (bright green ore), hold down right mouse button and then left mouse button using the method of your choice (resting a phone on the mouse buttons, AutoHotkey, rubber band, whatever), go to sleep, and wake up to a ship filled with Asortak that sells for 150 MILLION spacebucks or more. Not bad for a good night's sleep.

Perhaps this will be corrected in a future patch, but for now it's good money. It's nice to be able to upgrade your ship, ship weapons, ship components, etc. without having to scrimp and save for every penny.

so wonder if asteroids are re generated ea time you come into or leave the system, if so then coords in game wouldnt do us any good for relocating the last asteroid you were drilling on esp the hard to find. Would take awhile to find another one if didnt get all of the last one.

They do iv saved/loaded at asteroids and then loaded back in with nothing infront of me, the general location stays the same but layout is rng

so guess we have to get er all done at the time we are there including biggest cargo hold you can get at the time if and when you do find the good one. I had found a good large strike of gold and was wallowing in it then cargo filled, i felt like i just tossed everything out the window as i was leaving the system.

found something i didnt know about.... activating the clicklock on win10 mouse adv controls, was able to lock mouse button when mining so dont have to keep holding all the buttons down. Not sure how that works but when it does work its nice for long term mining. Think have to still hold down one button which i have a clip i put on it.

Noticed ea rock has a large number at top of the rocks info, wonder if thats a rock #, if so maybe can help in relocating the rock if for some reason have to exit system and come back.......722,723,724 etc... need to find a system how to relocate these rocks if in same system.

If you right click, press escape and then back in youll still be zoomed in meaning you only need to left click.

I think all the asteroid fields are randomized so when ya leave and come back they a different. I do wish they wernt randomized maybe replenished overtime like in Eve Online or Elite Dangerous.
