Why is there a built in cheat that instafinishes all missions? 0_0
Hey, so uh, if you go to "galaxy web" then accept a freelancer contract, you can do the following steps for infinite money and levels:

1. Go to "contracts"

2. Select the contract you just accepted no matter what level or difficulty or pay it is...

3. Hit the black and white square "C" under steps.

4. Hey presto, it insta finishes the mission and you get all rewards...

So uhhmmm.... I'm an idiot but I did this like 10 times and now my game is kinda ruined? I can buy everything in the game and there's no progression anymore. lol...

Bump. Why is this a thing? It makes no sense. Having a button that instantly finishes the game is not okay lol.

its a safe guard for bugged mission so basically only hit that button of the quest is bugged or you're stuck because of bugs.

and its perfect fine to be there just because you're using it to cheat doesn't mean it should be removed its a good feature that more games should have considering some broken quests can pretty much soft lock your save being able to avoid that is a plus.

Ahhh, okay. I dunno. I'm on the fence about this feature. Like on one hand I get it for buggy missions during an early access game. But I think it's too easy to auto finish missions, or instafinish the game if you get frustrated and ruin your own experience.

Like I did it because I was in a level 8 mission and the enemy shields regenerated faster than I could damage them. So that sucked. But then once i did it i just.... kept pushing the button. Lol

Like I'd rather see it as a console command or other blatant cheat rather than an innocent looking square C. Like make it very very clear it's a cheat.

and thats on you and is entirely you're own fault for abusing a mechanic

you have no one to blame but yourself

the rest of us aren't spamming it like you are so clearly the problem is the user not the feature.

It's really only a cheat if you use it as a cheat. Otherwise, it's there to clear a glitch.

more like it was a dev command that have been left forgotten, my game crashed a few minutes ago it updated and now that option in gone ;)

Ya and now i need it to be readded because im stuck on a main mission that bugged out a soft locked my save....

i did use that to complete the quest that devs is looking to fix soon " capture 3 systemes" that is blocking me but i did not save and i crached on my next jump ... when i was back it was updated and gone so i am stuck again

ya which is exactly why we had the button in the first place... for bugs not for people like the OP that just likes to cheat Lol

it was not here prior to 1.0.4 so i think it was just the devs who forgot to delete that option and corrected it as soon as he saw that
