if you have FULL faction you should have 3 "generals" that are the npc you collect with the story
then you should have 4 team leaders with 4 people for each team
Even assuming that ONE entire team is a GROUND team (needed for the operations) you still have:
3 space forces team leader
4X3 (12) people for the 3 teams
3 Generals
4 fighter (my squadron)
ME
The total is 22 ships, so WHY on the capture point every team count as ONE ship?
Each enemy fighter count as 1 to conquer a point so we are always like 8 Vs 15 on the conquer point and NPC's are totally useless because i have to kill every enemy to conquer a point (so why i need npc's? i do it alone)
So i think the operations are totally broken at the moment unless you are able to kill every enemy alone and conquer every point alone (then you send the ground team) that is what i'm doing at the moment
and we are not even talking about that no one seems to have found a way to conquer a system, i have 7 stations and in some system my station is the only structure but i have 0 conquered system.
By the way is an early access, i would just be able to travel to te moment when the game will be finished because will probably be really great.
by the way that "place holder" is mandatory for many main quests...
actually there are 1 soft and 1 hard lock to the game.
soft lock:
operations are not working properly, even if they fix they they need to give us a way to do it in a more automatic way because the is always the same thing.
So first we need a fix then we need more content for the ops (is an early access, we need to wait) and a plus would be to add an option to "send the army" while you can still do other things.
Soft lock and not hard because you can still complete the operations
hard lock:
there is a mission that requires you to "conquer 3 systems", no one seems to be able to complete it because even if your station is the only one in a system the game still not count the system as conquered
Side note for the operations:
Just think about this, if you conquer a station in a system where there is also another station how do you start an operation on that station to get the full control of the system?
If you go to that station you can only know the name not the owner, so if you are in a controlled system (a faction system) you can just go mad just by going to the ops menu and searching in all the faction building the right one.
But if you are in a "non controlled" system how the **** you do? It could take hours to search in all the faction the specific name of that outpost.
Solution?
Just add a button or something from the map to setup an operation on the buldings in the system where you are.
I suggest this because is "easier" then other methods that would be more complete but also more complex (probably they already have in the roadmap many things for the ops).
This could be a "temporary" solution for that problem

Are you sure you are in the correct system? To be sure go back to the operations tab, check if there is the "mark" EXECUTED. If is executed you will find some text that says "your army is waiting for his general in system XXX at the escape route"
Go to that system escape route
If you did everything then it's a bug
But also double check the operation tab because often is "seems" that is executed but when you go back you have to plan it again
