So... How Do I Talk With Drane?

I can't find him. Spent a half hour searching every person on the station because the waypoint marker kept pointing to the elevator, so I assumed he was down there. He's not.

Then I rechecked the journal and realized Drane was the name of the droid head I had, so I searched through every menu for something referencing him. Since Crew is grayed out, I'm hoping that's not how you talk with him, especially considering I've already overwritten my save...

Any help would be great!

Drane spawns right next to Smen. What language are you playing the game in? There seem some spawn issues in different languages. I thought I had fixed it for every language.

By the way, if you exit and re-enter the station, Drane will spawn again next to Smen.

Oh, ok - I'm playing in English and saw the new guy next to Smen, but couldn't interact with him. I'll try reloading the save and see if I can after it reloads. Thanks!

I figured out my confusion! That particular character doesn't have the F to Interact notification so I never tried interacting with it. Now that I know what I'm looking for, I was able to proceed.

I also had this issue just now, adding the f to interact notification here would help quite a bit.

I have done the war debris bit and after doing some mining etc came back to where she is but there is no way to communicate. No way marker to her in the station etc but it is still my only mission. Just not working now.

yeah same here, nothing spawns, game stuck on that mission ...

I also got no F to communicate message beside Drane however I did get a big pink Drane label for Drane so I was not confused about who it was. I had a mission to communicate so I just pressed f in front of the character and it worked. Does not work if behind or to the side however.

i also have had that issue that drane was not "spawn" i play on german language

i found out how i fix this
if you stuck on that "missionpart", leave station with your ship
dock again,
come back to ..äh smak? i forget the name from this missiongiver there
walk to him behind the table, and then "voila" drane spawns
drane is a female humanoid
the "F" conversation key is missing
just go near the female humanoid what own a blue armor and hit F
the mission contnues then
