Do like this:
1) Go to the atlas (big map whit AAAAALLLLLLL the stars of the universe), use the search function and digit the name of the plane "Tammeran", then click it and pres "Q" to set a route or manually click it
2) then go back to the system map (i press "T" 2 times to go faster) and click on the "stargate" that is colored in ORANGE usually, similar to the escape route
3) at this point you have a ROUTE on the atlas for Tammeran but you also have a waypoint on the stargate in your system. Are 2 different things
4) Press "B" to activate the hyper drive, now you should see the waypoint (you will see a green arrow pointing a direction, rotate following the arrow untill you see a green dot named "stargate") then go full power to start the hyper drive jump
5) now you should have arrived to the stargate, press "H" so you can use the mouse pointer and click on the "wi-fi" icon in the upper right of the ui, then click the "stargate" text under the wi-fi icon and "request a jump route" or a similar text (is the first option)
6) Now the game will tell you to go trought the stargate so just follow the instructions (it's easy, i will not explain that)
To do this easier you have to learn the following thing (so you will not need to "think" too much when you travel)
1) You can set a ROUTE and a WAYPOINT, are 2 different things
ROUTE: is a course trought different system
WAYPOINT: is a cource inside the same system.
2) To travel to a waypoint (a station, asteroid field, escape route, stargate ecc) you need to press B and follow the arrow on the screen
3) Escape routes are in every system. Escape routes are NEVER blocked, you can travel using B to an escape route from every point in the system and in every situation (even in fight). So if you are in danger and you need to escape the system quickly i suggest you to jump first to the escape route then to the stargate (except if the stargate is a lot closer then the escape route and if you are not going to risk a fight in the next 15-20 seconds)
4) BOOKMARKS
you can save system in your bookmarks, do it because when you find a good system is better to save it.
For example i saved in the bookmarks my hq system, some system i want to attack and MAWAN (the only system i know at the moment where i can find a faction station)
5)CARGO
You need to know 3 things about your ship cargo
1) if you are overloaded you are fu*** because every jump will be slowed like by 80-90% so it will take ages even to move to a station just to free your cargo.
Anyway you will see a red alert while jumping if you are overloaded
2) Sometimes other ship could scan you to see your cargo, they could attack you, see point 3
3) when you dock at any station you can press "F" to use services and you can find a bank (the bank is not binded to a specific station, is shared). Use it to unload cargo like higher level items ecc.. you will retrieve them at any station when you have to correct level
my god. i did, i want to die.
I could have just give your answer.
Most of the time being slow is just not worth the money.
