Great joke; just saying SC and game in the same sentence is a joke by itself; but even if we want to say that it is a game with more bugs than a hive of ants and quite incomplete in almost every aspect, it is hard to justify it after 10+ years.
1 star system with empty planets except few POI and some over eye-candy sections where players congregate seems to be a bit cramped; the same mission types generated on the fly that you are lucky if you can get to the end without a crash or a disconnect from the server (barely 30 people on each server... even Fall Guys has more players in a single session).
It looks great, sure; it is a DEMO :) was built that way to pull in people that can't tell the difference between a demo with smoke and mirrors and an actual game. The averega people that pitch in SC are the same people that buy AAA games that look great on pre-order and then yell because the game is broken or incomplete and promise they will never buy another AAA game... Until the next AAA game is hyped and they fall for it again.
Saving something, SC is at least 5-6 years away from being a stable beta with not even half of the BS they promised. If they would release SC in the same conditions that No Man Sky was released, it would take them 20 years to get to feature parity :) It is a great dream if it will ever happen; but looking at what has been done so far, and how they keep overpromising and under-deliver, only a dreamer could still be following them.
And this is coming from someone that paid for the KS in 2012; mind you.
This game (I hope) will be a close style of Freelancer 2.0.
I have tried this game and sadly no.
Star Citizen ends up focusing on far too much "immersive" elements that bloat the game with complex and unneeded mechanics. So I'll be shocked if it ever gets finished.
If you need a two page Manuel just to get your ship out of a hanger, you know something is wrong with the game.
So Spacebourne, Starfield, etc can just do their own thing without wondering what the decade old SC alpha is doing
The animations and graphics look very average on their video.
Starfield will be hands down the death of SC.
This is Bethesda, if some of us... of you, are always blaming them for anything, the global warming, the war in ukaine, at the end of the day you are still buying their games and you love them. Skyrim, Fallout 4 are among the best games, Starfield should be even better.
Forgot about that one already XD
I don't trust them since day one. ;)
Star Citizen is the Star Citizen killer. So no, it's already pretty dead.
It's a hard to kill something that is already dead
Clear. Like the first "half finished" Spacebourn title.
