Mag disappearing after emptying it?
I had a fully loaded M9 and expended all of the bullets, but when it was done with i could only chamber bullets into the gun, the magazine has just disappeared completely after using all the rounds, i still have 60+ 9mm in my inventory so it's not an ammo issue, it just pops up "No mag found". It's not even in my inventory...

"No mag found" means that you don't have any extra mag full with 9mm ammo in order to reload. I think the empty mag is still in your weapon (needs a full mag in inventory in order to reload).

If your inventory is full (no empty space) such as backpack, belt, etc then the mag might have be dropped on the ground and if you have grass "On" then make them "Off" so that you can see the dropped mag.
I had next to nothing in my inventory apart from some ammo and medicine, i had alot of space, it just vanished after i shot all of my rounds. I walked around and checked the vicinity for a good 10 minutes but still couldn't find it, kind of odd that the mag just disappears after you've shot all of your bullets. It wasn't in my inventory either i checked the containers i had but it definitely wasn't there, and there seems to be no option to eject the mag from the gun either or remove attachments from what i can see. The only thing i could do was chamber a bullet into the gun
"I had next to nothing in my inventory" --->that's your answer on your issue. Because you didn't had any other mag full with ammo in order to reload it (I run some tests). You need mags for that weapon full of ammo in front of your inventory (your main backpack) in order to reload weapon.

And also, there is a way to remove the attachments (hence the mag too) from weapons (info on screenshots) :

Also as you can see on screenshots I have pistol mags in my Alice backpack ready to reload when it gets empty. For the rifle, I just move that clip in my backpack and reload it with bullets and good to go.
