We need new things to do
Hi, I'll start by saying that the game seems well made, I built, searched and killed enemies, however it lacks a true immersive gaming experience. We would need a series of missions to carry out, not the simple and plotless ones of the survivors' camp, perhaps have an NPC to help us and also follow us with a pet animal, a dog? In short, the game seems like a demo, certainly a good demo, but even when played with friends, it lacks emotion. However, I can say that unlike DeadPoli, having graphics of this kind is rewarding, in addition to the fact that it runs on practically any PC.
We need new things to do or the title will end up forgotten in just 2 years.:zed:

For $12 everything we've gotten so far has been more than enough. It is in early access, and the developer posted the current roadmap on Dec 18th of last year. Just be patient and wait.

If you have more than one brain cell, you can come up with stuff to do, i do all the time.

Like making my own goals like collect every weapon/item 25 times without using the debug menu and have at least 20 bases with at least 5 storage boxes in each base on every end of the map and have at least even one base inside some of the deadly zones, Maybe even setup a few camps.

"A camp that i call it has 1 tent, fireplace and 1 table with 1 light and 1 well with each camp walled or fenced off with an gate or door."

These are just a few ideas to try my friend.

For the record the game is more than 2 years old and there are more players than ever with the game as is and there were many fans of the game long before you came to it which was more than 2 years ago.

Its been said before and i will repeat,
"Just be patient and wait." life is too short to speed up everything to an end.

Clearing the Observatory or the Classified tunnels are both a fun hour. Oil Rig too,. Collecting all the vehicles on the map.

Well, at least the community is caring, understanding and helpful....NOT!
Stop being those type of players, the OP has a point as the game is billed as Open World, not Sandbox. Which is the type of game most of you are talking about.

I'm fine with the game as it is, but that's because of the Road Map, I like the plan. But that also means I'm not playing the game until most of that Road Map is implemented, as there is literally nothing to do in the game. Yes, it plays well, looks good blah blah blah, but beyond running around and blasting some zombos for a few minutes, it's boring.

If the game would have been billed as a Sandbox, I wouldn't have bought it. As I don't want to have to make my own objectives or come up with ways to enjoy the game. Hell, even a roaming horde would be something simple that would add excitement and suspense. I mean, why build a base when there's no NPCs that visit, no attacks on it, no nothing. Oh wait, I can find one of those signal things and plop it down, there by forcing me to create my own fun...Boooorrrrriiiiinnnnngggg.

But I digress...

It's a great proof of concept/demo, but needs many things to an actual game.
