Remove clutter from building?
Is it a thing yet?
I started playing the game after a year break, and I can't find any empty buildings to build my base.
I remember there were more empty buildings you could find.
Which brings me to the next question.
Is it possible to remove clutter from buildings?
I remember this was a very requested feature.
Also, did they remove base building from the game?
I remember you could build a wooden shack, but I can't seem to find a way to do it now.

At the moment I stopped playing. If I can't find a good place to set up my base, I am not interested keep playing.

1. "Is it a thing yet?"
Yes

2."I remember there were more empty buildings you could find."
There are some still around (some are more difficult to find/access), including bunkers. The Dev has been updating to make more available.

3."Is it possible to remove clutter from buildings?"
Yes, but it's not from every single one yet. Right now the Dev has been focused on interior houses (and another building type, but I can't remember off hand). There are tools ingame that can be used to remove the clutter...for example, a shovel. If you read the descriptions it will tell you if it can be used to remove clutter.

4. "...did they remove base building from the game?"
No, it's still there. It's in its own tab and you have to be sure you are using the correct workbench. (I'll post a pic of it in a second). You can see, it's under the "Modular" tab.

Thanks for the reply.
This stuff should be more obvious.
I am actually very experienced on this type of game, yet I just couldn't figure out what to do.
The Modular Tab is particularly well hidden, the UI would benefit with some kind of rework.

@TEKK3N I would guess, as with many games in EA, there are just too many changes too often to warrant a good tutorial, yet. The building mechanics in the game are a good example of change over time while in EA.

I am sure as things get closer to V 1.0 a proper tutorial explaining many of the games mechanics (like building) will be implemented.

I noticed only the shovel remodes clutter, the axe and the hammer don't.
