No option to repair cars only salvage or search

Is this a bug? i've been nearly all around the map and come across numerous cars but i never got the option to fix any of them. The only options i have are Salvage and search. I have 4 car repair kits , i stand in front of the car and tried the back too. No options to repair.
i verified my game files etc.

You are not by correct car then, those blackened ones are for salvage only, try to look for normal colored that often have smoke rising from (not always), those are the ones you can repair. Also you need to be front of motor to get fix option.

i'll keep trying then. hope there's no spawn issue. literally, i've been through most of the map. thanks

cool! thanks. i did come across the dune buggy but there was smoke coming out of it. It did'nt give me the option to fix, only salvage. i'll keep an eye out for these. cheers

My first game was bugged, I was using the vanilla settings (car spawns on), but for some reason no fixable cars spawned at all. Neither did any other dynamic spawns, apart from bandit camps.

Started a new game, and found a car within literally 30 seconds.

I uninstalled the game and re downloaded it. Still took me a while but i finally found my First car. Sheesh! i've ran though about 70 percent of the map not finding one. After the new install i found 1 after about 15 min of exploring the northwestern area (close to the edge of the map).

From what I've experienced it's always there.

The SWAT Van is a 100% Spawn in each new character.

The Generator Key to get it...not so much. Best of luck with the RNG Loot Spawn on that.

The key spawns in a briefcase that is in a random room of the building, and is different every time.
